This Thanksgiving will definately be one of the most memorable. The week started with a bizarre 12 inches of snow. This wasn't accumulated over the week, but over one night.
From there, it was a week of snow flurries and temperatures under 15 degrees. Of course, according to Murphy's Law things got worse when our heater went out. Not worry though, the Stover's being tough as nails cuddled together in the front room with the oven on.The next day after the storm passed Shannon fixed it with out us having to call the experts. I was so glad too, because it was getting a little chilly. On Wednesday, Grandpa Ron, Nona and Aunt Kyla all braved the horrible road conditions and arrived at our house to celebrate Thanksgiving. The following morning we all traveled down to the riverfront for our 3rd annual Turkey Trot. This year the Stover's were plus one with the new addition to our family Martin! We all finished the 5k and headed to Cris and Steve Frazier's for a magnificient Thanksgiving feast. It was so fun having my whole family around the table. This year Kara is expecting and we all had fun trying out different experiements to see what she was having. So far, the needle trick said that she's having a girl. From there Meme(Mom) and Kyla headed over to our house hang out for the weekend. It was such a relaxing time pigging out and visiting. Then on Saturday, Shannon, the kids and I all ventured to Seattle were tommorrow we will be watching the Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs. I am so excited I always dreamed of doing this when the boys were little. I can't believe that Tyson is already nine and Lance is seven. Time flies. Anyway, we'll just have to see where the rest of this weekend has in store for us, but so far it's been one of the best.
