Okay I admit it--I'm horrible at up dating anything. I promise it's not because I don't want to it's just...well I don't know-me. Anyway this blog will probably look more like my diary than an actual blog. My goal is to blog at least once a week. This, however, is also on the same list that includes eating only 22 points a day, exercising three times a week and doing a daily devotional for thirty minutes a day. I know that I'd be a better person if I did those things on a regular basis, but I have no excuse--I hate routine. Any way enough of me wasting time making excuses or pointing the blame...lets get to the good stuff.
This summer I've started out of the gate at fast pace. To celebrate the end of spring term (my worst term so far) my fabulous girlfriends and I painted the town red at Kenniwick's finest --PF Changs. We then followed the evening up with book shopping at Barnes and Nobles, Starbucks and the movie Made of Honor. After that I spent my first week in California at my grandpa's house deep cleaning (not the funniest way to spend a holiday). Fortunately, our motley crew of workers which included my mom, sisters, baby bro and brother in-law all got time off for good behavior and spent one day at Disney land and another day at Six flags. I must say that visiting the happiest place on earth was a great place to kick off summer. While there, we did discovered the luxuries that come with bringing your eighty year old grandpa along. It might not seem worth it at first, but I highly recommend picking up a motorized wheelchair as you enter the park (fake a broken leg if you must) it guarantee's you a 15 min wait time for all rides and for your entire party. We also found that people move very quickly out of your way. Unfortunately for Kyla, she learned the hard way that those vehicles can go over almost any terrain including feet. If it wasn't for us being almost done with our trip she would have needed a chair herself. So you all have been informed and forewarned. Although Disney land was fun, nothing could top Six flags. The great thing about getting older is that the rides keep getting bigger, better and faster. For this adventure we had to leave mom and grandpa home to recover from Disney land so this trip was quite literally faster paced. After doing four extreme rides in about an hour we realized that maybe waiting in line isn't such a bad idea after all. At one point we all admitted to blacking out, but that didn't seem to slow us down. So, after 15 rides and 7 hours later we all called it a day. I don't think I'll need to ride another roller coaster for about a year. I know things don't look to slow down much now that I'm back at home, especially since we're moving in three weeks (sad face)...but I look forward to what lies ahead. You can all start calling me gypsie girl. Well ChOOse (bye in German) for now!
