Yesterday,like the character Derek Zoolander,I too realized that life might not be just about being ridiculiously good looking. Like maybe there's more to life, like helping kids who can't read good. Unfortunately, helping kids is not always as easy as being a male model or so it would seem. Yesterday was a tough one at work. I realized that I'm not superwoman and discovered just how human I really am. I realized that I need ALL the Fruit of God's Holy Spirit to be able to work with children, such as Peace, Patience, Kindness just to name a few. I know that God is using this experience to make my relationship with Him more authentic and real than it has ever been. Unlike Derek Zoolander, I realize that an orange mocha frappachino is not any kind of solution for a bad day (though it does sound really good). Thanks to God and his Son dying on the cross for my sins am I able to wake each morning knowing that though I may fall I will rise again. For anyone out there raising children bless you and be encourage that there is more to life than being really good looking and for those of you helping kids that can't read good I will be praying for you.

God is always there so when that little turn of a three year old just turns into satan and sometimes it seems that close, take a deep breath and ask for the good Lord to give you the pacience again! he is using you in the lives of these kids kate and your wonderful. . . and really really good looking! ( i had fun at dinner this weekend)!! loves!
